Helping you move forward, one step at a time
Hello, I’m Glen Charles, a Solution Focused Hypnotherapist and Change Work Practitioner based in South Wales.
I work with people who may feel stuck, overwhelmed or like they are struggling to move forward in the way they would like. My role is to help you understand yourself better, recognise the strengths and resources you already have, and focus on creating positive change for the future.
I offer professional, confidential sessions online, meaning I can work with people across South Wales and beyond from the comfort of their own home.

My approach
I believe that where you focus your attention can have a significant impact on how you think, feel and respond to life’s challenges.
Rather than spending too much time focusing on problems and everything that has gone wrong, Solution Focused Therapy encourages us to look towards where you want to be and the steps that can help you get there.
My approach combines Solution Focused Hypnotherapy with Change Work techniques to help you move away from unhelpful patterns of thinking and towards a calmer, more positive and confident mindset.
Every person is different, which is why I take the time to understand you, your experiences and what you would like to achieve. My aim is to create a safe, supportive and non-judgemental environment where you can feel comfortable being yourself.
My Qualifications & Professional Standards
I am professionally trained in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy, having completed my training with the Clifton Practice Hypnotherapy Training (CPHT) Centre in Bristol.
I am also a member of the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH), which regulates the code, coduct and ethics required by members to operate and provide a professional, safe and supportive environment for everyone I work with.
Having a fully insured practice and complimented with a DBS check enables me to be committed to maintaining high professional standards and continue to develop my knowledge and skills so that I can provide the best possible support to my clients.
Why I do what I do
I genuinely believe that people have the potential to change and grow, even when it might not feel that way at the moment.
Sometimes, life can leave us feeling stuck in patterns of thought or behaviour that are difficult to break. We can become focused on what is wrong, what has happened in the past or what might go wrong in the future. This can make it difficult to see the possibilities that are still in front of us.
My passion is helping people shift that focus.
Through our work together, I aim to help you develop a better understanding of how your mind works, build greater awareness of your thoughts and responses, and identify practical ways to move towards the future you want.
A little about me
I understand that choosing a therapist is a personal decision, and that feeling comfortable with the person you work with is important.
My approach is warm, professional and tailored to you. I will always take the time to explain what we are doing and why, so you feel informed and comfortable throughout the process.
I want our sessions to be a space where you feel listened to, respected and supported, without judgement.
You don’t need to have everything figured out before you start. Sometimes, taking the first step is simply about recognising that you would like things to be different.
Ready to take the first step?
If you feel that now is the right time to make a change, I’d be happy to talk to you about how I may be able to help.
Whether you’re looking for support with anxiety, stress, confidence, mindset or another area of your life, we can explore your situation together and look at the possibilities for moving forward.
You’ve already taken an important first step by being here.
